Co. Wexford Strawberry Festival

Enniscorthy Strawberry Festival is held on the last weekend in June each year. In 2010 the Festival will be held from June 25th to 27th. The main stage is in the Market Square and will host the main family entertainment over the weekend. Open air entertainment is free.

BORU will perform on the opening night of the Strawberry Festival and will attract a great following.

A new website has been launched and may be accessed on www.wexfordstrawberryfestival.com and all relevant details are located there.

The festival will also have many fringe events such as craft fair, photographic exhibition, teddy bears picnic, ice cream party etc.. 

 Strawberries and cream will be on sale daily over the festival.

The Strawberry Ball will take place in The Riverside Park Hotel at 8pm on 23rd June 2010.

The reigning Strawberry Festival Queen 2009 is Ms Chloe Mythen. The crowning of Strawberry Festival Queen 2010 will take place on Saturday 26th June 2010 on the Market Square Stage.

The Enniscorthy Strawberry Festival Half Marathon/ 3 person Relay/ 15k Walk will take place on Sunday morning June 27th, 2010 at 9.30am.

 Enniscorthy is celebrating 1500 years since its foundation by St. Senan during 2010.
